Professional Summary

Dr Sanjay graduated from KMC, Mangalore in the year 1999, and thereafter attained the trainings in dermat surgeries from Mumbai. It was in the year 2000 mid, he established his first skin centre at Indore. But soon after a few months of practice, he changed his field from cosmetic dermatology to only Vitiligo practice. His passion for bringing a dedicated service for Vitiligo patients led to his first Vitiligo centre at Indore, Maharshi Vitiligo Centre, and today he manages ten centres across India at major cities. His method of treating patients is indeed unique and innovative. He has an enormous experience with Vitiligo patients and its varied forms. His centres are dedicated only to Vitiligo patients from all over India and abroad. He initiated the very concept of Videoconferencing and teleconferencing to reach more and more people and avail them affordable and promising treatments.

Academic Contribution

He has developed a patented home use phototherapy booth for Vitiligo patients who can not reach the centre for therapy.

He is a co-author of the book ‘Complications in cosmetic Dermatology’ published in 2016.

His research has been a part of many journals, and he is enthusiastically involved in training the young doctors who wish to practice in the field of Vitiligo. He is a lifetime member of IADVL, AAD, IMA and the International Society of Dermatology.
